Martina graduated from UC Berkeley where she studied Sociology and Public Health. She dedicated her time to Peer Education on the topics of Violence Prevention and Health Promotion particularly with Cal Athletics. Martina has supported more than 400 survivors of violence as both a Child Forensic Interviewer and a Rape Crisis Advocate in Alameda County.

Now as an Advocate at the UCSC CARE office Martina provides confidential support services to members of the UCSC Community impacted by interpersonal harm. She is incredibly grateful to the male survivors, survivors of childhood sexual abuse and survivors of stalking who have trusted her on their healing journeys.  When not in the office Martina enjoys sewing, practicing yoga and hosting bonfires!
