Biography, Education and Training

Hey there! I'm Jennifer Rogerson Jennings, and I'm passionate about making a difference in the lives of students in the university setting. Currently, I proudly serve as the DRC Assistant Director, Auxiliary Services. With a strong background in organizational and program development, I bring my expertise to ensure student's needs are met effectively.

Being a problem-solver is my superpower! I specialize in program development and process improvement, finding innovative solutions to challenges that come my way. My knack for prioritization and project management ensures that initiatives are executed flawlessly. Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of leading teams, solving problems, and developing training programs that have brought tangible improvements to businesses.

When it comes to education, I hold a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology with a focus on Museum Studies from California State University, Chico. Additionally, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Maritime Studies, with minors in History and Anthropology from the University of West Florida. This unique blend of academic knowledge has given me a deep appreciation for creating accessible environments in public spaces, especially within the university community that I hold dear.

My journey is driven by a strong desire to create inclusive spaces where every student can thrive. I've personally experienced the impact of supportive programs on campus, and it fuels my dedication to championing accessibility for all. As the DRC Assistant Director, Auxiliary Services, I combine my skills, educational background, and experience in operations and program administration to make a meaningful impact at the Disability Resource Center of UC Santa Cruz.

Beyond work, I have an adventurous spirit! When I'm not busy making a difference, you'll often find me exploring the country in our trusty Sprinter van, Jörd. My amazing wife, Colleen, and our two adorable feline companions, Nimbus and Cirrus, are always by my side, making each adventure all the more special.
