Hi! My name is Haley Meyn (mine). I graduated with a Master’s in Education from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s of Art in Communications from California State University, Monterey Bay after transferring from a community college in Southern California. During my educational career I often felt lost in the supports available to me for my learning disability. This is when I discovered a passion for helping students navigate their own personal and education journeys as well as mentoring them in self advocacy skills. The diverse and unique needs of the students I have worked with as a School Counselor led me to the position of Service Coordinator at the DRC. In my role at the DRC I hope to use my creativity, build a safe environment, and foster positive relationships to allow students to find success.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, camping (in warmer months), road trips, listening to music/watching live music, spending time with friends and family, and exploring different restaurants.
