I am an assistant professor in the department of applied mathematics. I spend most of my time at the intersection of theoretical deep learning, dynamical systems, and computational physics (fluids, turbulence, and climate dynamics). Before I moved back to academia I was a staff scientist doing similar things at Xerox PARC (now a part of SRI International). I did my Ph.D. at Rice University, M.S. from University of Texas El Paso, and B-Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna.
