I specialize in soil biogeochemistry and agricultural ecology. My current work focuses on nitrogen cycling dynamics in compost-amended agricultural systems, with particular emphasis on microdialysis as an innovative technique to capture root-zone nutrient transformations. My research bridges fundamental science with practical applications, developing evidence-based guidelines that help farmers optimize compost use and nutrient management. I am committed to creating actionable knowledge that supports both agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability in California farming systems.
