I am researching insect-plant interactions in tropical forest restoration in Latin America. I am specifically interested in how myrmecochory facilitates succession in secondary forests in different restoration treatments. I am also studying how forest restoration filters ant morphological traits, impacting functional diversity. Lastly, I am interested in the narratives about the forest transition in El Salvador after the civil war.
