Driven by a personal journey through rehabilitation after rupturing my elbow in a national judo competition, I've dedicated my career to developing immersive technologies that enhance human performance and wellbeing. My research in human-computer interaction and assistive technologies has earned recognition through ACM/IEEE, and I've had the privilege to work with leading organizations including the National Institutes of Health, Meta Reality Labs, Walt Disney Imagineering, Warner Bros Entertainment, Google, and more.

Currently, I am an Adjunct Professor at UC Santa Cruz Co-Directing ASSIST Labs around serious games and applied XR/AI research in assistive technologoies. Outside of UCSC, I'm focused on empowering physical rehabilitation providers and their clients through co-founding Immergo Labs. As President & Chief Research Officer at Immergo, I lead R&D and innovation in one of the world's first embodied care platforms for physical rehabilitation. Our platform drives care through full-body avatar interactions for 3D telehealth sessions with AI-driven biomechanics analysis and immersive exercise guidance. I'm excited about the potential of technology to improve lives and welcome opportunities to collaborate.

Researcher, Co-Founder, and Doctor of Computational Media with a previous bachelors degree in Robotics and Electrical Engineering from University of California, Santa Cruz. Areas of work include human-computer interaction, immersive media, robotics, affective computing, user experience, and emerging technologies. My primary research explores virtual reality by combining immersive environments, wearable robotics, and biofeedback. I aim to augment healthcare by gamifying physical therapy to create interactive experiences that are both physically and emotionally intelligent in assisting users in rehabilitation. Additionally, I collaborate with a variety of academic and industry groups on XR projects relating to Genomics, Mental Health, Autonomous Systems, Interactive Visualization, and more. I am affiliated with ASSIST Labs and was previously advised under Professor Sri Kurniawan.

I enjoy growing my skills, learning new concepts, and applying them in creative ways to develop fascinating experiences that make a difference in people’s lives. My interests are in human-computer interaction, immersive media, robotics, affective computing, user experience, and emerging technologies.
