Ravi Rajan is Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he has served since his appointment in 1997.   He has also served as Senior Research Fellow at the Asia Research Institute at the National University of Singapore, Visiting Senior Fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi, and Visiting Professor at TERI University.
